I just picked up the new Flaming Lips album, “At War With The Mystics” (The Flaming Lips - At War With the Mystics).

It’s not exactly an instant classic although it is probably their most accessible effort to date. It’s still brilliant, and songs like “The Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Song” are just begging for inclusion on mix CDs.

) has got to be their worst album ever. If it weren’t for “Everything She Does Is Magic” this album would be a complete loss. Odd, it’s not available on the iTMS either. Oh well.
